Synopsis: |
| |
When Sadanand accidentally bangs his moped into a funeral procession of a four-month-old child, causing the carries to drop the body, little does he anticipate the series of events this sets in motion. Two of the participants in the procession take it on themselves to avenge this 'insult' to the dead child by beating up Sadanand. |

A series of events follows with the duo bent on taking revenge on behalf of the dead child's wounded soul and Sadanand doing all he can enlisting his pregnant wife, his landlord, landlady, neighbor, a police friend and even the family astrologer to avoid a beating. The two simpletons , on the other hand, look down upon bribery, uphold honor and chivalry and will settle for nothing less than two resounding blows. |

In due course, the mother of the dead child is pregnant again. The vengeful duo realizes that fate has taken them for a ride, the futility of a chickenhearted existence dawns on Sadanand. A compromise two gentle and symbolic slaps ends all the machinations and they all get to know each other well. The comedy unfolds human urges for love and money amidst fears of the undiscovered future. The search for perpetual happiness must go on. |
